The James A. Musick Facility, commonly known as the Irvine Jail, is located in California. The jail's capacity was approved to grow to up to 7,500 inmates by 2030, and a $261 million contract was approved for expansion in 2020 which would add 896 new beds and boost the jail's capacity to 2,208.
