LA COUNTY JAIL - Central Juvenile Information

Central Juvenile Hall is located within the Boyle Heights area of LA County and has recently been reassigned from a juvenile hall housing juveniles who are waiting for a sentence or who have begun serving a sentence, and will now be a hub for medical operations. The facility was determined to no longer be suitable for the purpose for which it was used, and the juveniles housed there are being transferred, or have been transferred to the Los Padrinos facility which has and is currently undergoing renovations to comfortably house the youth from both this facility and the Nidrof Juvenile Hall. Both mental and physical health will be monitored and cared for at this facility, and they will have all meals, medications, laundry, and other needs cared for. School classes are maintained when possible, and youth will learn routines and selfcare while they are held here.
