Visitation at the Irving City Jail is allowed during specific hours. On Sundays, visitation is available from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., while on Tuesdays and Thursdays, it is available from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. During visitation, each prisoner is limited to a 10-minute visit, and a maximum of two people are allowed per visitation period. Only one visitor at a time is permitted. Visitors must be appropriately dressed and at least 17 years old. They need to present a state-issued driver's license or identification (ID) card, or any other government-issued ID with a photo, last name, first name, and date of birth. Visitors will be checked for outstanding warrants, and a search may be conducted prior to entering the visitation room.
In regard to paying for a prisoner's Class C misdemeanor charges while they are incarcerated, credit or debit card payments can be made through the third-party vendor GovPayNet. This payment service is available for prisoners incarcerated in the Irving jail or for those with Class C Irving warrants being detained at other participating agencies using GovPayNet.
