There are four ways to deposit money in an inmate's account in the Illinois Department of Correction:
In order to do any of these you need to know the exact name the inmate is incarcerated under, and their Inmate ID#.
If you can't find the inmate and booking number online, call the IDOC at 217-558-2200.
1. Iowa Department of Corrections and JPAY.
2. Iowa Department of Corrections and Send2Corrections.
First, you need to know the exact spelling of the inmate's name and the inmate ID#.
3. Iowa Department of Corrections and Access Corrections
Iowa Department of Corrections uses Access Corrections Secure Deposits (also known as 'Smart Deposit') for depositing money into an inmate's account.

You will need to provide the following information: Inmate ID #, your name, address and other important information.

There is a $900.00 maximum limit per cash transaction.
4. Iowa Department of Corrections and Mailing a Payment
All deposits must be in the form of a cashier’s check or money order.
All cashier’s checks and money orders must be made payable to: IDOC offender Fiduciary Account.
The cashier’s check or money order must include the following: offender name, offender number, sender’s name and sender’s complete address. All writing should be legible.
**Important Notes**
Money orders must reference the inmate's name and the IDOC individual in custody number.
