Cash bail bonds are just another way to pay for bail to get a recently arrested released. Whether it be cash or another liquid asset acceptable to the bail agent, to get bail requires something of value to be given to the bail agent or court.
If you are using something of value for collateral, typically the item (jewelry, real estate, antique) must be at least 150% of the value of the bail amount in order to be considered. And it must be an item that can be liquidated and converted to cash easily.
