The Eau Claire County Jail in Wisconsin has a capacity of 275 inmates. It is located at 728 2nd Avenue, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, 54703, and can be reached 24 hours a day by caling 715-839-4702.

It is the primary facility for adult offenders in Eau Claire County and the cities, towns and villages that make up the county; Altoona, Augusta, Eau Claire, and a dozen other towns and villages. As of the 2020 census, the population was 105,710.

Offenders that are in the Eau Claire County Jail range from men and women who committed simple misdemeanors like shoplifting, and are either awaiting trial or have been sentenced to less than one year, up to dangerous criminals who have committed murder and are awaiting their trial, a period of time that could take years.
