Detention Visitation Rules and Hours
Visitation Hours
Monday through Friday 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Face to Face visit (15 minutes) or Phone calls (10 minutes)
Weekends and designated Taylor County Holidays will be phone visitation only
(10 minutes) 1:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Parent(s), legal guardian, or custodian only and will be required to present and provide a valid identification card at each visit. And no more than two people at a time.
No more than one visit per visitation period.
No infants or children shall be allowed to visit, and children shall not be left in the lobby unattended.
Approval for visitation shall be arranged through the juvenile's assigned probation officer and an approved visitation list will be created.
Any visit that is not authorized by the juvenile probation officer will not be permitted.

The Taylor County Juvenile Justice Center allows books to be mailed directly to the jail from a reputable source such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble or Books-A-Million. You can order them directly from your computer and have them shipped to the inmate at the address noted.
