About the Yamhill County Correctional Facility

The Yamhill County Correctional Facility is located in McMinnville, Oregon and is an large concrete structure, similar to a warehouse. It contains the inmates themselves, the offices for the records, the work release office, community corrections, and has a special release office for processing the release of inmates who have completed their sentence or been deemed not guilty.

The facility uses an online portal or app for booking visits at yamhillcountyor.gtlvisitme.com. To add money to the account of an inmate through correctpay at either the kiosk in the jail or through the correctpay.com website. Bail may be paid in the office during working hours of 8am until 5pm with a lunch break at noon, or via correctpay kiosks or online at any time. To provide safe and convenient visitations they are available both onsite and via video access online. The day and time of visits (yamhillcountyor.gtlvisitme.com) is determined by what block an inmate is placed in, with block A and C on Tuesdays, B and D on Monday, E on Wednesday, F on Thursday, FGP on Sunday, H on Friday, IW Saturdays, J and MED on Saturday, and WR on Friday. Hours are 2:30pm-4:3-pm for A, E, F, C, and H, 7:30-8:30pm for B, C, IW and WR, E, F, and FGP and WR. To confirm the cell block and the visitation times the jail can be contacted directly or the inmate will be able to confirm the information on their next phone call. 2 visits are allowed each week for 15 minutes each visit, and all visitors must be on a list created by the inmate before they are able to book a visit.

Mail can be received every day and is processed and passed to the inmates quickly, however the jail also uses a digital service to help avoid contraband entering the facility.
