About the Morrow County Corrections
MORROW COUNTY TRANSPORTS ITS INMATES TO UMATILLA COUNTY JAIL. If you would like to locate a person arrested in Morrow County, call the Morrow County Sheriff's Office at: 541-676-5317  or the Umatilla County Jail at: 541-966-3632. Arrests are conducted by Morrow County Sheriff’s deputies and officers, then they are transported to the jail in Pendleton where they remain housed until their court dates, through their trial, or until their bail has been paid. All offenders are housed in the same facility, and this holds inmates from misdemeanor charges and felonies. A communications sergeant is responsible for tracking the location of these inmates, their court dates, medical and mental health appointments, and other details. Inmates who become sentences to the Department of Corrections will be transferred to Coffee Creek Correctional Facility intake, where they are once again processed, and they are then transferred to the facility at which they will be serving their sentence. Inmates at the Umatilla County Jail use the Telmate phone system to make outgoing calls only. Funds can be added to this account through the online access at pay.telmate.com, over the phone at 1-866-516-0115, or at the kiosk located in the lobby of the jail. Voicemail can be left for inmates at the same number, by following the prompts to leave a message. Tablets are available in each dorm that allows messages and pictures to be sent and received with approved contacts, as well as provide the opportunity to read books, watch movies, listen to music, or even take online training. These can be funded at gettingout.com or by calling the number above. Educational programs are provided to gain new skills that will help them success after their release. Visiting hours are available each day from Monday to Friday, except holidays. Female visits are from 10 am to 10:30 am and 3 pm to 4 pm, while male inmates receive visits from 7:30 am until 8 am, 8:30-9:30 am, 1-1:30 pm, and 2-2:30 pm. Visits can be booked by calling the jail reception during regular business hours of 7:30-11:30 am and 12:30-4:30 pm weekdays.
