Klamath County Jail falls under the responsibility of the Klamath County Sheriff Office but also serves the City of Klamath Falls Police Department, the City of Merrill Police Department, the City of Malin Police Department, and works with the state police to house their inmates as needed.
A full kitchen is included and provides an opportunity for inmates to gain skills and work experience if they participate in the inmate worker program under the supervision of cooks. Other work experience opportunities include laundry services, maintenance, and cleaning or janitorial.
