This secure facility has 30 beds and houses male juveniles who have committed felony offences. The building is secured for the safety of the inmates as well as the staff and the surrounding community. This particular facility offers a focus on programs that assist in preparing these youth for their future active members of society. Group and private therapy are offered, as well as CBT, and treatments focused on sex offender and trauma therapy, as well as anger management and rehabilitation from substance abuse. Families are encouraged to be active in the program and there are family sessions scheduled to help them all adjust to the new skills and coping skills that are learned. Education is also continued in the core subjects and the school calendar is adjusted to run year round. Preventing students from falling behind during their stay at the facility is key to their transitions afterward and encouraging them to build and sustain careers as adults. Vocational training is offered through a partnership with the local tech school which will help to prepare the older students for finding jobs and growing careers when they are released. Any magazines that contain profanity, weapons, pornography or other content that is adult in nature will be confiscated by the jail staff and will NOT be delivered to the inmate.

Books
The Butler County Juvenile Rehabilitation Center allows books to be mailed directly to the jail from a reputable source such as AmazonBarnes & Noble or Books-A-Million. You can order them directly from your computer and have them shipped to the inmate at the address noted.
Books must NOT contain images or content that are considered excessively violent, pornographic or obscene. Any book that does not meet the Butler County Juvenile Rehabilitation Center standards will be disposed of.
