It serves many law enforcement organizations including the Sheriff’s Department, local police, Immigration, and other surrounding counties as needed.
The single story, red brick jail is located in the McIntosh County Law Enforcement Center, which it shares with the county sheriff. The McIntosh County Jail, on Georgia Highway 251 in Darien, Georgia is right next to the McIntosh County Industrial Park water tower.
