Men's & Women's Transitional Facility Inmate Search
The Men's & Women's Transitional Facility maintains an average of 350 offenders in custody on any given day. The Men's & Women's Transitional Facility has a monthly turnover of 40% of their inmate population, another 30% turnover every 90 days, another 20% every six months, and approximately 10% stay incarcerated between six and twelve months. Every year San Mateo County law enforcement agencies arrest and detain approximately 48,760 offenders.

It is a minimum security section of the Maple Street location and each inmate will be provided with a task or assignment that may include laundry, dishes, clean up, and even yardwork around the perimeter of both of the correction center locations.
Men's & Women's Transitional Facility only houses those who are minimum security and have already been assigned to the work program or have requested and been approved.
Inmates will have all of the same programs and medical care, dental care, and meals that the other residents access, and it functions must like a housing unit with the larger center.

Each of the inmates who are in the kitchen or service classes is permitted on visit of 45 minutes every two weeks in addition to the two video visits they are permitted. SmartJailMail.com provides a two-way, real-time video visitation system which can be used to speak to your loved ones directly in their housing location within the jail.
