It can handle up to 128 beds if they double bunk some areas, and 88 beds if they don't, but t's a far cry from their old jail which only had a 55 bed capacity. The jail and sheriff's office cost $35 million, and was finished in 2022.
It is at this location that all offenders, either misdemeanor or felony, will be housed until they make bail, are transferred or released, or finish serving a short sentence that is under a year.
