Lewis County Juvenile Facility Information

While at the Lewis County Juvenile Facility the young offenders will be provided with all of their basic needs and a team of staff will ensure the safety of the facility and the community. Medical care is provided through a contract with a local physician, and any immediate needs that arise will be transported to the nearest medical facility. All prescriptions must be through the approved pharmacy Centralia Pharmacy 417 S Tower, Centralia WA, 98531 (360)736-5000, and it will then be approved by the physician and provided according to the provided instructions. Mental health is supported through crisis counselors who are on call around the clock, and Cascade Mental Health provides services to all of the youth within the facility. Spiritual Counseling is also provided by Young Life and Christ for Life who attend the facility a few times a week offering counseling, tram building, bible study, and other services. For those who require drug or alcohol treatment are referred to the True North center where they address harmful behaviors and find alternatives to provide youth with methods to prevent both addiction and recidivism. Mail: Youth may be permitted to send and receive mail but are unable to exchange mail with others who are incarcerated or detained in either the youth or adult detention centers, and it may be checked for contraband upon arrival. Phone: Each of the youth will be able to place one 30 minute phone call each day during recreational time. Only parents or guardians are able to be contacted and a staff member will place the call. Incoming calls are not available. Visitation: Only parents and guardians are able to access Zoom visits and they may book via (360)740-2632. Visits are 30 minutes and will occur during the following hours: Monday to Friday 7pm-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-11am, 1pm-2pm, and 7pm-8pm.
