About the Enumclaw City Police Jail
The City of Enumclaw has a jail that is operated by the local police and houses all of their newly booked arrestees. When necessary, inmates may be housed at the SCORE Jail, Yakima County Jail, or the King County Adult Detention Facility. A work release program is also in place at this location and allows for qualified offenders to be sentenced to work release. During work release offenders are permitted to work their regular job during the day and return to the facility after each shift to continue their sentence. They must pay the fees associated with the program and apply to be accepted due to the waiting list of offenders wanting to be in the program. Out of county sentences may still be able to serve their sentence in Enumclaw City if the application is accepted. Prescription medications may be provided to the jail for the inmate at any time.
