This location is also the space that house the administration offices, sheriff office, court services, and the human resources, and it houses both male and female inmates. State of the art technology makes intake and booking faster and easier, assisting in getting inmates to their holding cells sooner than in previous years.
Within the facility there are several services and programs that are available to the inmates including laundry and food services, GED testing and classes, computer technology classes, parenting classes and substance abuse prevention and treatments as well as both group and individual counselling. To support the ongoing relationships with those who are incarcerated, inmates are permitted to make phone calls each day, have access to visitation every week, and can both send and receive mail.
To support phone calls, they can be placed collect and billed to the receiver, or they can be funded via gtl.net, where an account can be made, and funds added to pay for phone calls. On occasion in-person visits may be suspended, but video visits are available and can be accessed from any smart device with an internet connection. This allows people who are limited mobility, who live anywhere in the country, or who are unable to get to the facility for any reason to still have visits with an inmate. This process is conducted through GTL and can be accessed through Gettingout.com, where visitors can create an account and connect with an inmate for phone calls, video calls that are initiated by the inmate on their own schedule, and in some cases send messages.
