Located at 1000 Broad Street in Bedford, VA, the Bedford Detention Center is the main holding facility for Bedford County and houses all adult inmates from booking to their release at the end of their sentence or they are bailed out.

Units A through E will occur on Tuesday afternoons from 1pm until 3pm, F through I will be on Wednesdays during the same hours, and on Sunday inmate workers will receive visits between 1pm and 2:30pm.

With the rehabilitation efforts of the programs available and the support of loved ones, the goal for this facility is to provide inmates with the tools and knowledge they need for a successful reintegration into their community after they have served their sentence.

How Do You Deposit Money for an Inmate in the Bedford Adult Detention Center?
