About the Beaver County Correctional Facility
The Beaver County Public Safety Facility is a large brick building that stretches out with one story and is easily located within the city of Beaver, Utah. It includes the sheriff office as well as the local holding facility, allowing the Sheriff’s Office the ability to complete their tasks in law enforcement, housing detainees, transporting arrestees, and maintaining the safety and security of their community. The Beaver County Correctional Facility provides the housing for all inmates in the county jail, from those who are being booked for the first time through their trial to the end of their sentence. It is supervised around the clock and has a full staff to care for all inmates year round. Recreation, commissary, medical care, transport, visitations, and more are all provided by the staff at the jail, and it is designed with a direct supervision model that has officers interacting daily with inmates. Friends and family are also encouraged to offer their support to inmates through accepting phone calls, supporting their inmate accounts via jailatm.com so they can purchase their immediate needs from the commissary, and visiting when possible. These are all key ways to help the inmates remain mentally and emotionally healthy and supported during their incarceration, and can increase their chances of a successful rehabilitation, while also providing access to supports once they are released. Phone calls are permitted daily and are completed through Securus Technologies, which allow loved ones to create an account at securustech.net, where family or friends can add money to the account to allow inmates to call them. Securus offers not only phone services but also text and email messaging, and allows for video calls in many circumstances that create access to video visitation on a flexible schedule. Once an account has been created at https://securustech.net/video-products/ visits can be scheduled online at least 24 hours before the visit is to occur, and rather than set visiting hours the system offers great flexibility by showing only the hours that the inmate is personally available. These can be conducted from home or other locations, ensuring that regardless of where someone lives or their ability to travel, they can still have visits with people they know who are incarcerated.

Inmate Money Accounts

How Do You Deposit Money for an Inmate in the Beaver County Correctional Facility?

There are FOUR options for putting money on an inmate's books:

Option 1 - Dropping Money at the Jail
Bring money to the jail in person.
Either the jail personnel will process the Inmate Account payment or you will use a Jail ATM self-serve kiosk in the lobbies that accepts cash, debit or credit cards.

Option 2 - Deposit Inmate Money Online
Beaver County Correctional Facility uses Jail ATM to process all online deposits to an inmate's account. The company charges you a small fee for doing so, but the fee probably isn't as much as gas and parking would cost to take it to the jail in person.

Option 3 - Mail the Inmate Deposit to the Jail
Mailing a deposit takes more time to process than the other methods but can be done if you live too far away to bring it in person and you don't have a debit/credit card for online deposits. Never send cash. Always send a Money Order from the US Post Office, a reputable bank or Western Union. Call the Beaver County Correctional Facility first as they may want you to do this online or at the jail kiosk instead.
Make the Money Order out to the inmate's name and put their Inmate ID# in memo section of the Money Order.
