About the Wilson County Jail

The Wilson County Jail is a 458-bed facility was first built in 1989, with a new addition added in 2007. The jail is maintained by a central control tower in the center of the complex, which is monitored 24 hours a day. The facility offers Commissary, AA meetings, Church Services, and Bible Study weekly. A detachment of the Wilson County Jail is the Wilson County Workhouse Commission. The department has two work crews that work up to 16 inmates daily on litter crews. Some of the projects of the Workhouse include trash pickup on county roads and boat ramps; maintenance and trash pickup at the Agricultural Center; other projects for local civic non-profit organizations; and the inmate garden.

The Wilson County Jail is located at 105 East High Street in Lebanon, TN 37087. You can reach the jail 24 hours a day by calling 615-444-1412 ext. 1, and then extension 1. The jail is sprawled across an entire block, a series of buildings that include the Justice Center and the Sheriff's Department. It's bordered on three sides by High, Cumberland and Rogers Streets. The fourth side is low income housing, which makes sense as you wouldn't expect a jail to back up to luxury housing. However, that said, President Trump's home Mar A Lago, backs up to the Palm Beach Detention Center in Florida, so you never know.

The Wilson County Jail has an extensive Inmate Search and Jail Roster online, that offers mugshots, criminal charges, bond, the arresting agency and the offender's date of birth. You can also narrow down your search to see arrests and releases in the last 24 hours, arrests and releases in the last three days, and Most Wanted fugitives from Wilson County.

Mail can be received every day and is processed and passed to the inmates quickly. Friends and family of inmates in the Wilson County Jail can arrange to visit inmates by video, both at the jail and remotely from home. Friends and family can also communicate using an online text/email system, send them money and buy them commissary online, and set up a phone account that allows the inmates to call them during the day and evening seven days a week.

All the information on these inmate services can be found in the sections below.  If you still have questions, you can phone the jail 24 hours a day by calling 615-444-1412 ext. 1.
