The extended 54,928 square foot brick building with distinctive small windows that houses the 271-bed Loudon County Jail is the booking and holding location for all of Loudon County.

Inmates within are waiting for their trial or serving a short sentence, often under a year, within Loudon County to allow them to remain close to their community and family.  The jail's $17.5 million expansion, completed in 2020, has 193 male inmate beds and 71 female beds.

Medical care is one of the services provided, and medical and mental health needs are assessed during booking to ensure the needed treatments are provided. Inmate Visitation

IMPORTANT - All remote visitation at the Loudon County Jail is conducted by City Tele Coin video.

You can visit your inmate at the jail, or from your own device or computer at home.

The Loudon County Sheriff's Office provides a video kiosk in the lobby of the Sheriff's Office free of charge.

Visitation is limited to 10 minutes per visitor per day. Visitors must call ahead and follow ALL visitation guidelines.
