It shares this location with the juvenile probation department, the community services for juveniles, and the home monitoring program that allows qualified juveniles with no violent charges in their history to wait for their trial at home with a tracker and supervised closely by their parents or guardians. Those who are determined to require detention will stay in the housing pods, separating male and female detainees by gender, age, charges, and history of detention. Students will be expected to attend classes Monday to Friday at the onsite classrooms where they will be instructed by local public school teachers to maintain their education and continue to earn high school credits. Medical care is provided onsite by a licensed nurse and a doctor is available to attend as needed for injuries or illnesses. Mental health care and rehabilitation services are provided for drug or alcohol abuse, past traumas, and even family counseling as needed. Each day will include rest or recreational hours where they are able to finish homework, read, socialize, or access any of the day room activities that are provided.
