The office is located at 420 Mt Rushmore Rd, Custer, and the sheriff has 9 deputies, 2 reserve deputies, one administration staff, and access to 13 vehicles to meet all of the law enforcement needs of the county. They are the main law enforcement in the area and will serve all warrants and other required served documents, enforce local and state laws on the roadways and off, and will ensure the safe transfer and transportation of any detainees who they arrest.
