It is the local holding location for all of the people who are arrested in the area, and it houses adults who are awaiting trial as well as those who are serving their sentence.
For your convenience the jail has an online look up for inmates that allows friends and family to locate their loved ones after an arrest.
As part of the focus on humane treatment while ensuring the security of all detainees for both felony charges as well as misdemeanours, it offers a full range of services.

News, special interest or sports magazines may also be mailed to an inmate as long as they are shipped directly from the publisher. Any magazines that contain profanity, weapons, pornography or other content that is adult in nature will be confiscated by the jail staff and will NOT be delivered to the inmate.
