About the Spartanburg County Main Jail
The Spartanburg County Jail falls under the responsibility of the local Sheriff’s Office and consists of three facilities. These include the mail jail, annex 1 and annex 2. Each of these buildings have their own intent and purpose, and operate as a key part of the whole. A full range of services are offered at this jail including food services, incoming and outgoing mail, telephone services for inmates to contact their family, visitation to maintain outside relationships and connections, medical care, and all other needed care that offenders may require. Staff at this office are also responsible for overseeing those who are on home arrest and require care and tracking. An account can be created at SecurusTech.net, and this allows for friend and family to add funds to the inmates account for calls. Calls may only be made to people who are listed on the approved phone list, and this is also true for the visitation list that an inmate will create after arriving at their housing assignment. Visitors are permitted, and must be included on an approved visitor list and will be allowed two visits on site of 30 minutes each week, and on 20 or 40 minute visit done remotely by video.
