It houses both male and female inmates, and has visitation hours, meals, and recreation all planned to keep the female and male inmates separate as well as keeping a security balance in order to maintain safety for all inmates and staff.
It is run by the Morrow County Sheriff Office, which has a department for Sheriff staff and Corrections staff. Each is trained for their specific duties, but many are also cross trained on other procedures. In the event an emergency occurs staff can react together, and they may need to assist in areas other than their regular positions.
