About the Cibola County Correctional Center

The 1400-bed Cibola County Correctional Center is a privately run prison facility that is primarily used for ICE detainees and US Marshal Service detainees, however Cibola County has an agreement for locally arrested offenders to remain there while they are awaiting bail or trila, and may do their sentence there if it is under one year.

  • You are allowed to visit from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. however if there is a large number of visitors you may be asked to shorten your visit to allow others to visit.
  • You must be on the inmate's visitor list.
  • The inmate will request from his unit staff the required visit forms that will be sent to you. Once the inmate receives the information from you via mail he will give it to his unit staff for verification of the information. 
  • No more than four(4) visitors per inmate/resident, excluding children will be allowed.
  • Visitors must have a government issued photo ID.\
  • Minors under the age of 15 do not need any special visitation form they must be accompanied by an adult that has been approved as a visitor. Minors over the age of 15 must fill out the visitation form and have a valid Identification.
  • Dress professionally with non-revealing clothing.
  • Visitors are permitted to bring the following:
    − Reasonable amount of infant care products into the Visiting Room. All items will be searched prior to entry into the visiting room.
    − $40.00 in change, for use in the vending machines.

Collect calls allow you to accept and pay for calls to your land line (only) phone account. This means that if you accept your call from your inmate, all the charges for that call will then be billed to your land line phone account and will show up and be listed on your next local phone bill. Additional fees, costs, restrictions may apply.

Prepaid calls (Direct Calls)
With Prepaid Calls you can set up your account so that the inmate can only call you and/or you can just deposit money in their account and they can purchase prepaid phone cards through their commissary and call whoever they choose, provided the Cibola County Correctional Center approves of the phone number.

Quick Connect
