Both male and female inmates are housed here, including those who are waiting for their trial and those who have been sentenced.
Admissions and booking will accept all new arrestees and process their fingerprints, mug shot, add arrest details and charges to their file, and do an assessment for their housing assignment, medical needs, and mental health care. Admission is also the area that handles bail from 4:30pm until 8am every day including evenings and weekends and can be reached at 609-299-1694 for further information.
Programs include the County Supplemental Labor Service Program that operates the community service diversion program and the Road Crew who help to keep the surrounding community clean.
Counseling is provided for all inmates, as weel as support groups, computer lab, GED, and even a cars program for those interested in learning a new skill and career. Job fairs, a law library, and a second change program all provide rehabilitation efforts and support inmates in gaining new skills and experiences.
