About the Middleton House of Correction

The sprawling complex that has the Middleton House of Correction, consists of several buildings and housing units and the County Sheriff’s Department. It is within this building that male and female inmates are housed either before their sentence or as they are serving a sentence, with a transition to one of the two pre-release location for those who qualify only shortly before their sentence is completed.

They will attend classes with a GED program available, substance use education, health and wellness classes, money management, anger management, and life skills classes. There are also programs to provide treatments for addiction, counseling both group and individual, parenting classes, and medical care that is accessible around the clock.

Within Middleton House of Correction there are several opportunities for recreation and social interaction, and they will be provided with three healthy meals each day, laundry services, and phones to call out to their friends and family after having an account created.
