Within the facility are two separate areas, the Secure Attention Facilitating Environment that offers 32 beds for juvenile males and the Secure Trusting Attention Girls Environment that houses up to 8 female youth. Safety, security, and health are the main focuses of each side of the facility, and they are offered several services and activities to grow their trust, responsibility, and discipline as well as life and social skills. Participating in the activities will help youth to improve their own situation and provide the needed skills for success after their release, and include group therapy, individual and family therapy, anger management, drug and alcohol awareness, reading groups, sex education classes, career days, community days, and ongoing education to encourage older students to get their GED.
