Contact with their outside support system has been shown to improve mental health of the inmates which improves the safety of the staff and the inmates, while also allowing family and friends to stay updated.
Phone calls, messages, and access to the visitation information are all available online, providing nearly instant contact with the inmate. To access these services the visitation website can be used to register an account and from there the visitation schedule can be accessed and visits booked, messages sent, and phone calls completed.
Visits are 20 minutes each and run Sunday through Saturday from 8:00AM to 8:30PM, with each inmate getting one visit each week. No visit can begin after 8pm, and anyone under 18 must be with an adult.
