Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Information

The Hamilton County Juvenile Services Center is the main location for all juvenile services in Hamilton County, Indiana. Within the center there are two separate areas, the detention space that is secure and houses those who are delinquent, and the shelter space that provides emergency care. The shelter unit is a temporary housing location that allows students to attend their home school with transportation there and back each day and has a capacity for 20 juveniles. Onsite treatment is provided for any medical or mental health needs, and they are permitted to go offsite for community projects or other activities.
