Operating under the Teller County Sheriff Office, the 126-bed Teller County Detention Center houses not only the misdemeanor and felony arrests but also functions as a local ICE facility, with most inmates remaining under one year or being released in just a few days on bond.

Within the building are several housing pods that are made of cells surrounding a common area with phones, tables, showers, and access to an outdoor area. Most of the cells are double occupancy as the Teller County Detention Center is a medium security facility, which also has a library, commissary, gym, barber, chapel, and visitation spaces.
Recreation options are limited due to the short amount of time that is generally spent incarcerated at this location, however cards, games, reading, television, and other activities are available.

How Do You Deposit Money for an Inmate in the Teller County Detention Center?
