School classes are offered Monday to Friday for all ages and grades, with the ability to access college classes for those who have already graduated from high school. The goal of the facility is to offer short term treatment that not only meet but exceed the regulations for the sector, support positive personal development, teach the value of a schedule and routines, motivate change, and encourage youth to grow decision making skills and prepare them for a happy and successful life. Detention is used only when other measures have not achieved the necessary results, but before resulting to this sentence other programs are attempted that allow the youth to remain in their own home while they serve their sentence.
