All juvenile offenders who have entered the juvenile court system within Glenn County will be housed at the Tehama County Juvenile Detention Facility. A probation officer from Glenn County will remain on call and is responsible for all cases, including the transfer to the Tehama facility, and the court process for these cases. Once they arrive at the facility, they will be permitted to call their parents or guardian and will be able to call both and attorney and their employer as well. The assigned probation officer will approve the phone numbers and their phone calls during their stay. All medical concerns should be provided to the facility and will be cared for during their detention, as well as their basic nutritional needs, education, and recreation. School records will be obtained from their current school and a plan will be made to keep them learning the same as their class, along with any counselling or additional needs they may have. Visitation: Visits are encouraged to maintain the bond between students and their parents or legal guardians, and visiting hours are provided every Monday and Wednesday through Friday from 8:20am until 4:30pm.
