Orin Allen Youth Rehabilitation Facility Information

Due to both the cost of repairs needed as well as the dwindling population of the facility, the Orin Allen Youth Rehabilitation Facility was set to close in 2022. It housed low to moderate risk youth and had a capacity of 100 students at any time, though for the last year had an average of 10 students in residence. To replace the program there are several alternatives to incarceration including cognitive behavioral classes, house supervision with a GPS tracker, serving the community, and others. Higher risk youth will be transferred to a nearby county for housing.
