Thea facility offers many programs to support the youth and to provide rehabilitation services. Education is continued and is aligned to match the place they are in their public school education to create seamless transitions back to class after they are released, religious programs are available, counselling, recreation, health care, behavioral classes, and much more. Alternatives are considered before detention is chosen, and this includes a risk assessment to determine the correct consequence to the charges, home supervision, community service, and others. Community College classes are offered, anger management, parenting, substance abuse, gang intervention, and even music appreciation and other arts classes. Social engagement and vocational training help prepare students for life outside of the facility and financial literacy along with health and wellness programs assist in preparing for a successful life.
