The small, 10-bed Cleveland County Jail is responsible for the housing and care of those who are accused or convicted of committing a misdemeanor or felony in Cleveland County as they wait for their trial or as they serve their sentence, usually less than one year.
The sheriff's office and jail are located in a small, tan brick building behind the courthouse, at the corner of Sycamore and 5th Street in Rison, Arkansas.
