Elmore County Jail is equipped with the latest in security technology and staffed with professionally trained correctional officers. Inmates are provided access to basic needs such as meals, commissary, phone access, mail, medical care, and recreation. All inmates are subject to the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) and inmates are exposed to information on rape elimination topics.
Elmore County Jail offers visitation, telephone, commissary, mail, and exercise privileges to all inmates. Visitation privileges are available on-site at no charge or via video visitation from an outside device for a fee. Friends and family can add money to an inmate's account for commissary items through the Sheriff's Office or online.
