The red brick building that houses the Roane County Sheriff’s Office and 170-bed Roane County Detention Facility, stretches to cover almost a full block. To meet the needs of those arrested throughout Roane County on either misdemeanor or felony charges there are several housing units with differing security strengths and a fenced yard in the back for outdoor recreation. IMPORTANT - All remote visitation at the Roane County Detention Facility is conducted by City Tele Coin video.
