About the Susquehanna County Correctional Facility

As part of the Criminal Justice System in Susquehanna County, the Susquehanna County Correctional Facility is the immediate detention facility for the area. It hold both pretrial and sentenced detainees and provides educational and learning opportunities for all inmates.

Treatments are offered for addictions and mental health needs, and religious, vocational and work programs are offered, and recreation is provided for each inmate. Doctor, optometrist, dentist, nurse and prescription services are all provided, and where a problem occurs that cannot be addressed in this way, transportation to the hospital or outside appointment is provided.

To speak to an inmate on the phone one must be included on their approved phone list, and it may require that collect calls be accepted or that money be added to the inmates phone account through GTL at we.connectnetwork.com.

To further support healthy relationships outside of the facility, visitation is provided throughout the week based upon the housing assignment of the inmate. A, B, and C Block all have schedules that are constantly changing, so it is key to speak to the inmate before booking a visit. D has visits Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 8pm. E is on Tuesday 5pm-8pm and Friday 1pm-4pm. F Block has visits Saturday and Sunday from 9am until 11am. G on Monday 6pm-8pm and Wednesday 2pm-4pm. Disciplinary segregation has visits on Thursday mornings, males at 8-10am and females 10-12pm.
