About the Jackson Pike Jail
The second location of the Franklin County Jail, also known as the FCCC II, is a larger facility that houses both male and female offenders. The much larger capacity and the high security allows it to house people who are serving a sentence as well as those who are awaiting sentencing. While it is encouraged that inmates have visitors, phone calls, and mail, there are still restrictions upon dress codes and what items may be submitted via mail. Visitation has been altered as video visits were put in place. There are stations for video visits in the lobby of this location that allow family and friends to visit for free, and for a low cost they can be connected from home via any home computer or even smart phone. To determine which location someone you know may be held at, the online system allows for inmate look ups. This will include the full name, location, charges they are facing, and if they have been sentenced that may as well show on their file. This system can also share information on court dates and case numbers, however for bail purposes the information required should be obtained directly from the offices to ensure that it is complete and correct. Visits are between 10:30 in the morning until 1:30 in the afternoon and again from 4:30 in the evening until 9 ion the evening.
