There are 92 beds in the jail, and these are sectioned off for male housing, female housing, medical segregation, and administrative segregation. These sections were developed for the safety of both staff and inmates and allow for each inmate to receive the level of support and security that is the best fit for their personal circumstances.
Inmates are present for different reasons, either they are awaiting trial, are waiting to be transferred to other locations, or they are serving a sentence after they have completed their trial.
There is an onsite kitchen, medical space, and spaces for mental health treatment and counseling.
This is a full service jail that houses both short term aned long term detainees and inmates. While some are arriving and awaiting their pretrial or bond hearings, there are others who are nearing the end of a lengthy sentence.
