  • The Orange County Correctional Facility has 4 visiting sessions that are conducted on each scheduled visitation day (Thursday to Monday).
  • Visits must be scheduled online at least one day in advance and may be scheduled as far as one week in advance.
  • The check-in deadline for any scheduled session is 50 minutes prior to the start of that session.
  • Visitors may only attend one visiting session per day.

The Orange County Correctional Facility allows inmates to receive pre-metered postcards like the type purchased from the post office. They may also allow certain photo postcards as long as they have not been tampered with or contain images that may be considered to be obscene or violent in nature. Newspapers
Newspapers may also be mailed to an inmate as long as they are shipped directly from the publisher.

Magazines
News, special interest or sports magazines may also be mailed to an inmate as long as they are shipped directly from the publisher. Any magazines that contain profanity, weapons, pornography or other content that is adult in nature will be confiscated by the jail staff and will NOT be delivered to the inmate.

Books
The Orange County Correctional Facility allows books to be mailed directly to the jail from a reputable source such as AmazonBarnes & Noble or Books-A-Million. You can order them directly from your computer and have them shipped to the inmate at the address above.
Books must NOT contain images or content that are considered excessively violent, pornographic or obscene. Any book that does not meet the Orange County Correctional Facility standards will be disposed of. An inmate may have three books in their possession at any one time.
Hard cover books will not be accepted by the jail due to their potential to be used as a weapon.

Packages
Packages cannot be sent in by mail but they can be dropped off during visiting hours before 1:00PM.

The following items in packages can be dropped off:

  • Two sets of white/off-white thermal underwear.
  • Three each of the following: socks, underwear, tee shirts (no pockets or tank tops). These items must be new in package and white in color. Females may receive three white bras (no underwire). These items may be received once every 30 days.
  • Prescription eyeglasses, reading glasses, or contacts (sealed). No sunglasses.
  • Religious items accepted: one small prayer rug, one kufi, one Yarmulke or one set of rosary beads (ALL WHITE or ALL BLACK only). Any other religious items must be requested by the inmate in advance and will be accepted with the approval of the Visiting Sergeant.
  • Court clothing will be accepted in exchange for the clothing held by property. Property Release forms must be completed by inmate 24 hours in advance.
  • Footwear must be plain black or white sneakers, under $50.00 in value. No high tops, air cushions, wheels, flare, zippers, excess metal permitted. Boots will only be authorized for outside detail trustees.
  • Cash (only) to be deposited in an inmates account will be accepted in the front lobby from 7:45 AM to 1:30 PM and from 3:15 PM to 9:30 PM. Persons leaving money must show a valid ID.

The devices are similar to common handheld tablets, but are made exclusively by GettingOut, a GTL / Viapath company.
Tablets offer specialized content and services for inmates to use during their stay at Orange County Correctional Facility, such as:
