To determine which facility an inmate is being housed at an online look up is available through any of the websites for these facilities, and it will list each of the new bookings and current inmates. These lists are updated periodically and will not reflect those who have not yet been booked and assigned a housing unit.

That said it is most likely that people arrested in Gloucester County will first be taken to the Salem Correctional Facility to be booked in and processed. Call them at 856-769-4300 for further information about where they landed.

Each facility offers phones for offenders to contact their friends and family, as well as either in person visits or online visits via video calls, with hours that will vary both by location and by housing assignment. To contact your loved one, it is first necessary to determine which facility they have been transferred too or await their call once they have been booked. Every inmate is provided with a phone and time to call after their arrest, and they can use this to alert a loved one where they are or to contact a lawyer who may then pass on the message. Once in their assigned housing they will have access to phones each day to call and will then be permitted to schedule visits.

Home monitoring is completed by the Gloucester Correctional Division, and they will provide all equipment and check ins that are necessary for those who are serving their sentence in this manner.
