It is the only facility in the area that houses inmates who are charged with felonies, and it keeps an open lobby for all business of 8 am to 7:30 pm Monday through Friday. The main communication provider for the facility can be accessed via the website gettingout.com or 866-516-0115. Only adult inmates are admitted to this location with a youth facility for all juvenile offenders. To determine if someone is being held at this facility, the website has an online look up which offers a search function of all inmates within the jail. It is updated each day for the most recent results, and the information is shared with VINE, allowing victims and their families to receive notifications of any changes to the custody of an inmate.
Before an inmate is able to accept visitors they must fill out a visitor request form for processing, and this must be approved before they will be scheduled to visit. This form must include the name, address, birthday, and other information about the visitor. Once a visitor list has been approved, visiting hours can be confirmed and a visit scheduled by calling 541-682-4263 during business hours of 8 am to 7 pm each week as the visiting hours for the next week may vary. Visitors must arrive 30 minutes before their visit and leave the visiting area directly after.
Arraignments are conducted within the facility at 11 am and 1:30 pm depending on the court the arraignment is for, and visitors must remain in the assigned area for the entirety of the arraignment, it is advised to call the jail and confirm details in advance. To receive calls from an inmate an account must be registered with Telmate and money can be added to the account at the website or through the kiosk in the jail lobby.

Types of Phone Calls
Collect Calls
Collect calls allow you to accept and pay for calls to your land line (only) phone account. This means that if you accept your call from your inmate, all the charges for that call will then be billed to your land line phone account and will show up and be listed on your next local phone bill. Additional fees, costs, restrictions may apply.
Prepaid calls (Direct Calls)
With Prepaid Calls you can set up your account so that the inmate can only call you and/or you can just deposit money in their account and they can purchase prepaid phone cards through their commissary and call whoever they choose, provided the Lane County Jail approves of the phone number.
Quick Connect

Magazines
News, special interest or sports magazines may also be mailed to an inmate as long as they are shipped directly from the publisher. Any magazines that contain profanity, weapons, pornography or other content that is adult in nature will be confiscated by the jail staff and will NOT be delivered to the inmate.
Books
The Lane County Jail allows books to be mailed directly to the jail from a reputable source such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble or Books-A-Million. You can order them directly from your computer and have them shipped to the inmate at the address noted.
